O-"Fish"-AL Valentines

This week at Cooking with Cricut the Challenge is tough! I guess that is why they call it a challenge! I struggled with this one at first. I know you will do a great job with the challenge though! You must have yellow, polkadots, and anything but a card for your project! Then Link your project back to cooking with cricut. So this is what I came up with....

Anyone else loving Pinterest? I absolutely do! I must admit that it took me like 3 months to decide whether or not to start following it.  I was a little intimidated I must say.  But after I figured it out.  I LOVE it! While searching on Pinterest, like I do, for ever, I found this idea to use goldfish crackers using the word "O-Fish-ally". I knew I had to use it because my son loves goldfish crackers.  So, I created some Valentines for my son to give to his preschool class.

Want to make some?

It is so simple to make!
I just bought some little baggies from Hobby Lobby. The ones with the zip lock that are generally by the check out. Then I drew some circles on red paper with a white gel pen. I took a photo and made it 1.4 X1.0 inches in my word document. I made a text box in the word document and typed "I wanted to O-Fish-ally wish you a Happy Valentine's Day!"  Printed them off and cut them out.  Next up is the black fish that I cut using the "Life is a Beach" Cricut cartridge at 1.5. If you don't have a cricut you can always buy a sticker or cut one from a black piece of paper. That's it! So fun!

Hope you have a super day!
Smiles,

Jill

  2. Oh Jill, this is priceless! My son is a HUGE goldfish fan (so is my dog, the little mooch, but that's another story!), and I'm thinking he may end up with something like this for Valentine's Day. What a great idea - thanks so much for sharing. :)

I, too, held off for awhile on Pinterest, but once I figured out how it works, and the organization, and the clutter built up over here from ripping pages out of craft magazine, I can simply pin it!! LOVE it...heres to finding more creative ideas to inspire us!!
