Chocolate Covered Oreo Lollipops!

Friends, I can't believe that my son is done with preschool! Crazy! You may remember the cute little ladybug magnets we made for my son's teachers in the beginning of the school year. If not, you can check out the post here. Since it was the end of the year, (which I cannot believe...time really does fly doesn't it?) we knew we wanted to make another cute little gift. Sooo.....my son and I made these Oreo Lollipops for his teachers as an end of the year gift

Here is the card inside that my son decorated with a glance of the Oreo Lollipop without the wrapping.

My little guy so proud of what he made.

Here he is telling you how he made this treat!

I was thinking at how versatile this cute little gift is....  Since Father's Day is coming up you could change the ribbon to match Dad's favorite color or even use some type of rope!! For a special birthday treat you could add your friend or even co-worker's favorite color ribbon....or you could even leave this treat as a special good luck for your child on a test or a sporting event! The possibilities are endless!!!!

So want to learn how to make this fun treat???

They are so easy and fun to make!

Ingredients:
oreos
chocolate
lollipop sticks
wax paper

Steps
1.Melt Chocolate according to package directions.
2. Lay wax paper down
3.Dip oreos in chocolate, leaving a tiny little hole in the bottom so the stick can fit its way in
4. Lay oreos on wax paper and allow chocolate to harden
5. Once the chocolate is hardened take your lollipop stick and put it into the hole that you left in the bottom
6. I drizzled white chocolate on top to make it look fancy!:)
7. Enjoy!

Have a Super day!

First Day of School

I can't believe my son is in preschool!  Craziness!  Anyways, he's in the 2 year old program a couple of days a week.  His classroom is named "The Ladybug Room".  So I decided to make a gift for the teachers.  I almost forgot to mention, I'm in a group called MOPS.  I'm a table leader, and our table this year is called "The Ladybug" table...I didn't even pick the name!  I lucked out, huh!  So, I made these for the ladies at our table too:)

Ladybug magnets!  They are in the front and in the back is how I packaged it.

For the Magnets:   This project is super simple and you can do this with many different wooden shapes.  Just buy the prepainted wooden shapes and hot glue a magnet to the back of them.

For the Box: Just assemble the box, put the magnets inside, wrap a ribbon around it and tape it at the bottom using scotch tape.  Then cut out the lady bug in black and the top in red.  Attach them to the ribbon using the dimensionals!

Recipe:
Cricut: Walk in my Garden cartridge 2 in. ladybug
Black Cardstock
Red Cardstock
dimensionals
Ladybug Ribbon from Hobby Lobby
Painted wooden ladybugs from Hobby Lobby
Circle Magnets from Michaels
White box from Target-
( I got the boxes many years ago
and don't know if they
still have them...sorry)

Have a great day!
