Crayon Monogram and CWC winners!

Cooking with Cricut 25 days of Christmas winners are posted! Head on over to see if you won!

Here is a gift I made for my son's preschool teachers for Christmas.  I originally saw this idea on pinterest, by Creative Gift & Party ideas, which I think they did an awesome job!

So this photo was taken with my camera phone...I literally texted it to my friend to show her what I was making while talking to her on the phone and when I sat down to blog about it, I realized this is the only photo I have! So, at least I have a photo!

Want to make one?
Shadowbox from Target
Patterned Paper
Crayons
Text

1. Type out the teacher's name on a piece of paper
2. Cut paper to desired length and width
3. Tape white pieces of paper down to the patterned paper with double sided tape or desired adhesive...I used my ATG
4.Take crayons and make desired letter
5. Hot glue down
*Tip the hot glue dries quickly so put it down quickly in the spot where you would like it to go
6.I used E-6000 to adhere the patterened paper to the black velvet, which is the background the shadowbox comes with
*Tip-make sure to allow the E-6000 time to dry...like 24 hours before putting it back into the frame.  I didn't do that with the first one I made and all the crayons fell off
7. Enjoy!

Smiles,
