Patches of Pink, Anything Baby

Hello everyone! Patches of Pink is having an anything baby link up! My mom, myself, and some friends actually had a baby shower for some friends not too long ago, you can check out all the details here. Today I'm going to share the activity that we did at the shower.

We made onesies at the baby shower! It was a BLAST! The baby shower was kind of like an open house...not regimented, so I was in the basement at the onesies station. People could come and go at the station as they pleased, which people really liked.  At the table we had all different colors of fabric paint, fabric markers, sharpie markers,  sponges,  and paint brushes.

The Sharpie tie dyed onesies were very fun! 

We learned that method from Martha Stewart.

Happy Friday...and BABY SHOWER preview

Yay! It's Friday! What is everyone doing this weekend? I think Friday is my favorite day of the week because when it's Friday, everyone seems to be happy! What is your favorite day? Plus, you have Saturday and Sunday to look forward to! Anyways, enough of that....

I just wanted to share a little piece of info with you......we're having a baby shower! No, not for ourselves, but for some wonderful friends!  So here are the invitations that went out today...

Our friends are obviously having a girl. They don't have a theme but more or less are sticking with the colors, pink and gray.  They are doing a modern themed nursey, too.  Our friend is an awesome decorator, so I'm super excited to see it when it's done. Our friend loves polka dots, so when I found these invitations I knew these were it! These invitations are from Tiny Prints you can find them here.  

I will be posting more decorations later...... my mom made the door decoration already and it is too cute for words!  Get excited! You can view more decorations my mom has done in the past here.

Jungle Theme Baby Shower

What a crazy weekend!  I don't know if it's because I'm 34 weeks pregnant, chasing around a 19th month old, or both (I think they're both good excuses), but I've just recovered from the weekend!  We hosted a couples shower for our dear friends Saturday night. Then Sunday, we drove 2.5 hours to West Lafayette (Go Purdue) for my friend's baby shower.  I thought I would post some of the games, decorations and such from the shower we hosted.  The theme was a JUNGLE theme. Enjoy!

Boilermaker Bundle Baby Shower Gift

On Sunday I went to a baby shower for one of my dearest friends.  She doesn't know what she's having yet, so I decided to make a gift using the color scheme black and gold.  We met at Purdue and both our husbands went to Purdue as well so I thought it was a perfect fit!  I call this the Boilermaker Bundle!
