The Paper Variety Challenge

Here is my project for The Paper Variety's Challenge

I've been making my daughter so many different hair accessories recently, so I needed a better location than where they currently are.  I decided to make this bow holder.  I took a frame, put patterned paper in the background and put ribbon over the glass in a zig zag pattern.  I know...I know... you may be thinking "this is a paper challenge"....so I made two hair clips out of paper!  We'll see how they last with an 8 month old!

I used the Flower Shoppe Cartridge to make these flowers.
My Top Tip  is when making the little white flower make sure to use a quilling pen.  Start out at the end and work into the winded section.  When I first looked at it I couldn't figure out which end to start, but you want to start out at the end that is the most open and coil in.  Also, using a light mist of water from a squirt bottle and then blotted the flowers will help to shape them!

Smiles,
