Bye Bye Crayon.. Hello Clean!

Recently, I cleaned out my classroom and said goodbye to teaching!
I found these baskets when I was cleaning it out.
I was so excited because I'm redoing my craft room and needed little baskets.
The only problem was that they were all marked up from the crayons.
I tried everything to clean them up and nothing worked until I became friends with
Mr. Clean and his Magic Eraser Pads! Have any of you tried these? Oh my, they work wonders!
Seriously, look at the pictures above, and it is proof!
The only thing they don't do as well on is pencil markings.
Crayon is like a miracle, but pencil is not, so I just used a regular eraser!
They are all clean now and in my craft room!

What are your tricks for cleaning?

Hope your day is SUPER fun!

End of the Year Cookie Treat

Participating in summer camps or taking a summer class?
Well, my husband taught a summer law class.
So, of course, I had to make a cute little treat for his students for their last day!

Do you watch the tv show shark tank? I absolutely LOVE it!
You may remember a cute little lady, Blondie, who came out and talked
about her cookies, "Blondie's Cookies".
Well, I almost fell out of my chair because we have one of those stores in our mall!
They are by far THE BEST cookie you will ever have in your life....NO JOKE!
Since we found out that they were in financial trouble we had to support them even more,
because if they went out of business not only would I be sad, but my entire family for sure!

So we bought the cookies from Blondies, which you can check her out here and wrapped them up all cute.
My husband was like, "Why don't you just send in some napkins and they can just grab a cookie".....very thoughtful of him, but this type of thing is right up my alley, so I made a printable, which is at the end of the this post, some ribbon, tape, XL Circular punch, regular hole punch, foam stickers, and cellophane bags.

Here is how I secured it in the back with a foam sticker

I hope you enjoy this printable!
Just right click on the printable itself and download it by
clicking "Save Image As"....
Obviously you know that this is just for personal use only:)
Thanks:)!

For newbies, just use an XL circular punch if you want to make the treat like I did:)

Thanks for stopping by!

Have a SUPER fun day!

Dress Up Your Flower Pots

Sometimes it's fun to add a little something to a flower pot to give it height, a bit of color, or interest.
You may remember a post I did where I added vinyl house numbers to a flower pot. If not, you can check it out here.
Today, I decided to add these flower picks to our Brella Bowl for fun.
If you notice the plates, cups, etc... in the background of the pictures, I won those at
a recent wedding shower I went to. I never win at Bingo, but I did and got all of the dishes as my prize!
Woot Woot! I was so excited, so I made these flower picks to go with the dishes.

Want to make some?

These are sticks are so much fun!

What do you do to dress up your planters?

I hope you have a Super fun day!

Easy Way to Cut a Mango

Who loves mangoes?! I do I do!
The only problem was that I had the hardest time cutting them until......
my friend taught me this trick, thanks Becky!

*I cut vertical and horizontal slices because it's easier for my kids to eat, but you don't have to do both, obviously!*

So easy, right?
Now how do you eat your mangoes?
Plain, in a salad, in salsa?
Do you have any recipes you want to share?

Hope you have a SUPER fun day!

CWC New Arrival Cartridge Showcase

Yesterday I did a cartridge showcase over at CWC . Just in case you missed it I thought I would post it.

I have the honor of showcasing the super cute Cricut cartridge New Arrival. It is perfect for baby gifts or for decorating for a baby shower which is what I used the cartridge for!

I made 2 banners for a baby girl shower I had recently:
You can check out more information about them here

I also made a onesie for my friend when she had her baby. This was the first onesie I ever made and the first time I cut with fabric using my cricut! At the time I did not know that the heat n bond permanent did not actually mean permanent. If I was to make this onesie again, I would stitch around the edges.

The cartridge also has tags, which are super helpful and I've used them many times! I hope you enjoyed the showcase and I hope you stop by and visit me at Jaihart!

Have a super fun day!

I Love you because....board

I'm a sucker for a love note! So what better way to get a love note and give a love note than the "I LOVE YOU" Board. I originally saw this  here. The really cool thing about this board is that you can write directly on the glass with a dry erase marker! Then just take an eraser or a paper towel to erase your note and you are ready for another one! My husband and I have been exchanging notes and I've had so much fun with it that I decided to make one for my friend who is getting married.
To make this board...

Supplies:
Frame
Paper
Printer
fabric button cover kit
fabric

Steps:
1. Print off "I love you because..." on a piece of paper that is the same size as your frame and put it into your frame.
2. Follow the fabric button cover set instructions. Here is what a button cover kit looks like

3. Hot glue the buttons onto the frame!
4. Enjoy!

I hope you have a super fun day!
